I. Overview:

This Databse is unique database for search and explore the potential drug targets of C. difficile.

I. Input as Drug Target

I. Input as Drug Target

Here you can select the "Database ID" or "Protein name" option for database query (refer help) and then you can type Datbase ID or Protein name in the given text box as a input and click into the "Go" button as shown in Fig. 1

Result :

After you click the "Go" button on the input page, the search tool will search for the HITS that are similar to your input Keywors. The list of hits you can find in the result page (Fig 2). Select the desired one from the list. Use mouse click on "Database ID" to know the detailed informtion about the selected protein (Fig 3).

II. Input as a Databse ID

Here you can select the "Database ID" option for database query (refer help) and then you can type Datbase ID in the given text box as a input and click into the "Go" button as shown in Fig. 11

Result :

After you click the "Go" button on the input page, the search tool will search for the HITS that are similar to your input Keywors. The list of hits you can find in the result page (Fig 12). Select the desired one from the list. Use mouse click on "Database ID" to know the detailed informtion about the selected protein (Fig 13).

After you Select the desired one from the list. You can find the detailed information in the result page. You can find more informtion on the given Tab options.

III. Input as a Protein name

Here you can select the "Protein name" option for database query (refer help) and then you can type Protein name in the given text box as a input and click into the "Go" button as shown in Fig. 14

Result :

After you click the "Go" button on the input page, the search tool will search for the HITS that are similar to your input Keywors. The list of hits you can find in the result page (Fig 15). Select the desired one from the list. Use mouse click on "Database ID" to know the detailed informtion about the selected protein (Fig 16).

Fasta format of Protein sequence :

To download the Fasta format of sequence desired protein, click on "Fasta" button of infromation page of desired protein (Fig 17).

After you click the "Fasta" button on the result page, the Fasta format of prteon will display from where you can download the Fasta format sequence of your desired protein.

Proteome Table :

The proteome of all strains of C. difficile (i.e. C. difficile 630, R20291 and CD196) are given in seperate table (Fig 18). you can also retrieve desired information for protein from these tables.

Here both proteome tables are connected by external links, you have to click on "protein", which will result in proteome table for the perticular proteome table of that strain (Fig 19).

Select the desired one from the list. Use mouse click on "Database ID" to know the detailed informtion about the selected protein (Fig 20).

Drug Target Protein Table :

The Drug target proteins for all strains of C. difficile (i.e. C. difficile 630, R20291 and CD196) are given in seperate table (Fig 21). you can also retrieve desired information for protein from these tables.

Here both proteome tables are connected by external links, you have to click on "protein", which will result in proteome table for the perticular proteome table of that strain (Fig 22).
